Summary: libsedna.a doesn't seem to be 64-bit appropriate

Initial Comment:
on mac os 64-bit you get the following message when compiling against libsedna.a: "ld: warning: in
../../../driver/c/libsedna.a, file is not of required architecture." it's a problem with the 64-bit
archcitecture, I suppose, as "gcc -m32" works.

Kilian

hi there,

i'm reading the modules chapter of the prohrammers guide. it mentions a system document "$modules", but
there is no such document in sedna 3.2. instead there is a collection named so.

[ANN] Sedna 3.3 Released

We are pleased to announce the new Sedna release!

Sedna 3.3 binaries and sources are immediately available at: http://modis.ispras.ru/sedna/download or http://sourceforge.net/projects/sedna/files .

Significant Changes and New Features:
  • Query Explain Statement [2]: shows execution plan of the XQuery or update statement.
  • Query Profile Statement [3]: profiles XQuery or update statement, shows execution time, number of calls for each physical operation in the execution plan.
  • Improved Errors Diagnostic: Sedna now reports details of XQuery/XUpdate execution errors with both line and column numbers in the source query code.
  • Version 4 of the Client/Server Protocol: each query result item contains XQuery Data Model type [4].
  • Completely C/C++ source code: Sedna now doesn't contain sources in Schema!

Other Changes:
  • Metadata system document '$modules' removed. Use collection '$modules'  instead to get names of all modules.
  • We do not have resources to deliver Mac OS (Darwin) PowerPC binary releases and night builds. However, we will be very glad if someone has ability to create Darwin's PPC build.
  • As usual, Sedna 3.3 build includes a lot of bug fixes, improvements and optimizations.

New Contributions:

Note: Sedna 3.3 database format is not compatible with the previous one. Use export/import utility [1] to migrate between releases.

Delphi driver zip file corrupt

Hello All,

It seems that the Delphi driver/client zip file on the site is corrupt. I
would really like to use it. Would some kind soul help me get my hands on
it?

Thanks,
Gerry

Re: Delphi driver zip file corrupt

Hi Garry,

Why do you think it's corrupt? I've just tried it and extracted it normally.

Re: Delphi driver zip file corrupt

Hi,

I've tried downloading from a different location (different ISP /
firewall) and I still get a corrupted file on both Windows and Linux. I
tried downloading a couple of the other files and they are fine. It's a
strange problem.

Thanks,
Gerry

Re: Delphi driver zip file corrupt

Hi,

Hmm... I guess it must be something between me and the site. I've tried
downloading it on several machines. I'll try a different network and see
what happens. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks,
Gerry
