Problem In appending a tag (Crimson XML Parser)

Hellow To All,
I have parsed an XML file to form a Document object. now i want to add a new xml Tab, which will be a child tag/element of some element with a given id. i am not able to append/add a new tag . any help regarding how to append a child node, and save the changes in the xml file, will be extremely appreciated. Thank you all.

Re: Newbie: Looking for XML/XSD/RelaxNG OSS Editor

Have you looked at Eclipse? In particular:

- New builds include the WTP - web tools project - which has a bunch
of XML Schema-aware XML editing tools, pretty nifty for manual editing.

- Alternately, the EMF project in the Eclipse Modelling Project lets
you programmatically or builder-wise build and use schemas or models
of various types. It's pretty complex to get started with, but there
is a lot of power there.
