Yes, somebody just updated the lenya demo (which is working fine) and forgot us. :( I just did a svn up and found out. Sorry. p.s. <at> lenya-devs if you update zones please update as well the forrest instance: cd /export/home/lenya/src/lenya-1.4.x-forrest svn up;./build.sh clean;./build.sh Then you can use a small script that I extract from the nightly.sh which will kill and start all lenya instances we have on zone: cd /export/home/lenya/bin chmod 755 start.all.sh ;./start.all.sh; chmod 600 start.all.sh salu2 thorsten On Wed, 2005-08-31 at 22:37 +0100, Ross Gardler wrote: > I'm afraid the error is back again. Has somebody set up > special mail alias that sends the same reply to both > Lenya and Forrest dev lists? No special list yet. The suggestion has surfaced again on the lenya mailing list. Michi (Lenya dev who posted this "test") suggested that in the meantime we use the forrest list and preface the subject line with [LEFO]. This is came about because Thorsten is creating a publication for Forrest to use on our instance of Lenya in their zone. SOme of the Lenya devs want to track what we are doing as they hope to move some of the work into the default Lenya pub.(Continue reading)

Error with views

I did some work this evening on an "old" site that was using views (i.e. before the refactoring for project.theme and project.theme-fv properties). I've added these properties am told the resource is not found. Now, this resource is being brought over from a Daisy repo, there was a bug introduced to the LM (null m_nodes), but that is fixed now. However, I still get the same error. The logs are showing that the problem is now in views, at least I think that is what the error below means. It can't find the COntractsMessages resource, which is part of the viewHelper plugin. Any ideas? (I'm off travelling again for the next week, will be intermittent access) ERROR (2005-09-01) 02:07.42:734 [core.manager] (/index.html) PoolThread-4/I18nTransformer.CatalogueInfo: Error obtaining catalogue 'ContractsMessages' from <[Ljava.lang.String; <at> e3ffdf> for locale en_US java.lang.Exception: Unable to locate resource: ContractsMessages at org.apache.cocoon.i18n.XMLResourceBundleFactory.select(XMLResourceBundleFactory.java:237) at org.apache.cocoon.transformation.I18nTransformer$CatalogueInfo.getCatalogue(I18nTransformer.java:2272) at org.apache.cocoon.transformation.I18nTransformer.getMessage(I18nTransformer.java:2158) at org.apache.cocoon.transformation.I18nTransformer.getMessage(I18nTransformer.java:2181) at org.apache.cocoon.transformation.I18nTransformer.endTextElement(I18nTransformer.java:1691)(Continue reading)

Proposal for Forrest-Cocoon-Lenya commit access

There have been various discussions about this topic, some of them on various PMC mailing lists. There is no need for it to be private, so now it is in the open. The developer community needs to understand the background and the related issues. Private discussions do not enable the community to be involved. We all, especially new Forrest committers, need to understand the ramifications of this. The main effect that i see is that we would be opening up the Forrest repository to people that we do not know and are not familiar with. Is everyone happy with that. This proposal is not about making people from these projects members of the Forrest PMC. The process of becoming a PMC member is up to each project. At Forrest, our process is different to Cocoon's and i don't know about Lenya's. This proposal is only about convenience. Nothing is stopping anybody from sending patches to the other projects. Here is the proposal. After a chance for discussion then we can go on to vote about it. Normally we don't need to vote on things, but we do in cases of changes in project direction and community composition.(Continue reading)

The idea of the tag was so that we all know that the message went to a special virtual list. That is not the case, so we don't need the tag. We already discussed in another thread that Ferdinand raised, that we don't need special tags. Rather we use well-chosen subject titles. > This is came about because Thorsten is creating a publication for > Forrest to use on our instance of Lenya in their zone.
