[ERPS-list] List server change

Hi ...

The old list server machine is not sending out emails. It needs to be
rebuilt and I haven't had the chance. For the time being, I've moved
the list to another machine but the address

	erps-list <at> lists.erps.org

will remain the same so the move should be (mostly) transparent.

Goddard Exhibit

Hi ...

Here's a link to an interesting article about rocket pioneer Robert
Goddard. This home town is doing an exhibit about him, hist life and
his work. Note that he was persistant, even in the face of public
ridicule and doubt. It took him 27 years to build and fly his first
rocket.

Re: Goddard Exhibit

Gentlefolk,

There's an excellent Goddard Museum in Roswell NM, where Goddard went to test
rockets after they got too big for MA. They've preserved the main workshop,
and have several of his significant patents on dislplay.

Northrop Grumman Proposes Space Missions to Go ... in 48 Hours or Less
Company to define concepts for reusable, rapid-turnaround launch
system

(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 4, 2006) -- The U.S. Air Force would
be able to launch satellites or deliver special purpose payloads in as
little as 48 hours using a new, rapid-turnaround launch system
proposed by Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC). The new concept,
called a Hybrid Launch Vehicle (HLV), would also reduce launch costs
by approximately two-thirds compared to the cost of using a medium
evolved expendable launch vehicle.
