***********************************************************
NEWS FLASH!!!!!! CHRIS MCKAY TO SPEAK AT CSDC!!!!!!!!!

This word just came in late last night from Jean Marie Walker with
the NSS/Golden Gate Space Frontier Society Chapter. Dr. Chris McKay
from NASA/Ames' Mars Pathfinder team will be stopping by to talk to
those attending the NSS's California Space Development Council meeting
in Oakland (Coast Guard Island near Jack London Square) on his way to
an evening event in Marin.

Dr. McKay will be with us from 4 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, April 25, and
has been asked to speak about future Mars exploration, and especially
about the recent founding of The Mars Society.

If you haven't checked them out on the web, Jean Marie suggests you do
so in advance at:

    <A Href="http://www.nw.net/mars/">http://www.nw.net/mars/</a>

In preparation for his visit, we hope to have a brain storming session
on possible ways we can support the Mars Society and questions we want
to ask him.

This meeting is OPEN to all current/former members of the National Space
Society, or any other pro-space advocacy group (NAR, Tripoli, SFF, The
Planetary Society, USSF, etc.)
