Re: rotax wiring
The 2 yellow wires on the rotax are for thr charging system. The generate an
AC current which plugs into the voltage regulator. The black wire with the
white stripe is for the kill switch, you ground this to shut the engine off.
It can also be used to drive your tach..............it puts out aproximately
65 volts a/c.This is a problem if you are using a mychron 3 automotive
instrument. It has a high and a low voltage signal wire. Low is for 0 to 20
volts and high is for 100 volts an up....................... The brown wire
is for ground, this is important if your engine is mounted in rubber. I do
not have a wiring diagram to send, this should be helpful.
