Finally got to see it tonight....I would be surprised if they put out 140hp
after the pipe modifications....I've seen some BAD looking pipes in my life,
but looking at how those pipes were cut and pasted I'd be amazed if those
engines were actually putting out over 100hp.....probably would have been
easier to cobble a Y manifold and use a single pipe.

I saw it ... it was pretty cool.

rotax wiring

does anyone out there have a wiring diagram handy?  i am putting the engine 
into the car and need to figure out the rotax vs amw wiring.  i have taken out 
the coil and cdi but am wondering if the voltage regulator is needed.  second 
i need to know how the ignition switch works (how to stop the engine).

if anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

The 2 yellow wires on the rotax are for thr charging system. The generate an
AC current which plugs into the voltage regulator. The black wire with the
white stripe is for the kill switch, you ground this to shut the engine off.
It can also be used to drive your tach..............it puts out aproximately
65 volts a/c.This is a problem if you are using a mychron 3 automotive
instrument. It has a high and a low voltage signal wire. Low is for 0 to 20
volts and high is for 100 volts an up....................... The brown wire
is for ground, this is important if your engine is mounted in rubber. I do
not have a wiring diagram to send, this should be helpful.

rotax parts

I am in need of a aaen or equivelant Y-pipe for a rotax.  If anyone has a 
spare or a source for one that they would like to part with, it would be 
appreciated.

You have the one above the rod end upside down, but it does belong there.  
The one under  the rod end is correct.  If you haven't already, replace the 
cheap plastic spherical with a shock eye.
