Bought a car on Tuesday
I was in Dallas on business and stopped to look at a car owned my Mike/Bob Raber in Wylie, TX. It is an 88 Red Devil. It was in pretty good shape, some loose stuff (steering and shocks) and it was hard to start (mostly due to the dead battery). Once it was going it ran great. It all looks straight and it drives well. There is some play in the steering but I'll fix that with a new setup probably. New tires (3 autox on them) and few scratches in the paint. I'll be picking it up in about 3 weeks (I live in Tulsa, OK) and hopefully will be able to run it at an event at the end of the month. Can't wait.

I need some advice
Hello, I have a few questions for you. My name is Kris and my husband (Clint) is trying his best to get into racing. The only problem is that we don't know how to go about doing it. We don't have the money to buy our own car. Is it possible to find someone who owns a racecar that would hire my husband to do the racing for him? Clint has years of experience in racing. He grew up in Arizona, where he was first introduced into the world of racing at the age of 15. He raced 3 wheelers for a while, then moved on to motocross. Several years ago, he was approached by a man who told him he could get him into car racing, but it never panned out. All he really needs is a chance to prove himself. He knows how to drive like a pro and he's not afraid of anything. If you can help us out in any way, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much!!! Kris Webber-Herbert dewebber@...
