Acquisition, communication and understanding of medical images

[sci.med.imaging 326] Group meetings in Toronto

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there are groups, either formal or informal, that
physically meet up and discuss medical imaging and medical image
analysis. My background is in numerical techniques for image
segmentation. I also have some experience in learning based
classification in medical images.

If you know of anything, please reply.
