Picture note

Hi all,
No one answer my last mail :o(
I have many picture I want to upload to Wikipedia and I want to know if I
must/can add a copyright notice on the picture (bottom-right corner : "Under
GFDL") ?
Please answer me.

Just to prove that someone is at least reading your message.

I am inclined to say there are difficulties of applying GFDL (a license for 
documents) to images, but an answer/ solution woud be to find some way do 
it.

Could you possibly include a full-text of the license into the image ?

Or at least the formal license notice, like explained in here ?

And if GDFL is prefered, does that mean you want others to freely modify 
your image only when they provide a link to transparent copy of the 
unmodified version?

Thank you all for your answers.
When I add my first images on wikipedia there were no image namespace so
someone recommended me to add copyright info directly on the picture.
I didn't found yet a tool to add comment directely into jpeg/png files, but
I care this can make files unreadable with some (old) system. No risk ?
Otherwise, I suppose the [image:xxx] is the better place.
It's pitty we can't prevent downloading without previously agree a licence
agreement.
By the way, 320x200 still a good resolution for pictures ?

I just didnt understand why didnt you used the almost complete translation I've already done a few months ago..

It was sent to you and to Brion Vibber, both confirmed its receipt.

It's bad to see my work thrown away.

I'm pretty sure we should maintain somewhere who made a translation of a
language already, to prevent duplicates. Maybe on
Meta:Wikipedia_software_upgrade_status? 

Maybe there should be a link from create a new language wikipedia page to
the above mentioned meta page as well. If you don't like the idea, revert my
changes.
