Hello everybody,

A Taverna user has asked:

<quote>
It seems that the SPARQL engine changed or doesn't work.

My query is:

PREFIX snarm: <http://rdf.myexperiment.org/ontologies/snarm/>
PREFIX sioc: <http://rdfs.org/sioc/ns#>
PREFIX mevd: <http://rdf.myexperiment.org/ontologies/viewings_downloads/>
SELECT distinct ?url ?title ?description ?author ?viewed ?downloaded
where { ?workflow dcterms:type ?thetype .

FILTER (REGEX(?thetype,'taverna2beta'))
}

And it worked before.

http://rdf.myexperiment.org/sparql

Hi All,

I have fixed the bug.

I was improving the sparql endpoint to allow different types of query (i.e.
select, ask, construct and describe) and had written a function to detect
the type from the SPARQL query itself. Unfortunately this function wasn't
robust enough to work in all cases. I have now amended it so it should be.

Regards

I was at the game last Saturday. Shocking. A miracle comeback but
crikey. It was "jumpers for goalposts" stuff.
we will get stuffed on Saturday

I'll restrain myself from ranting about "we" vs. "they".
Glad you enjoy it. I was once a Blackburn fan, but saw the light.

Paul.

Re: Global Goble

ah, this must be England... how can a topic that feeds off a 2-pager
story on Carole and myGrid end up in a discussion on football, i.e., the
very last line of the last paragraph in the story ...:-)

But Paolo, you are Italian! As current world champions, how can you
say such a thing about the beautiful game?

It's best to leave the last word to Mr Bill Shankly

"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am
very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much,
much more important than that."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Shankly

p.s. I think the new words "Gobleisation" (see article) and "The
Gobleplex" (caroles office) should be entered into the Oxford English
Dictionary immediately...

well you know, too much of a good thing :-)

actually I am getting really worried now, my son's interests has been
shifting from football to rugby!

""Liverpool without European football is like a banquet without wine."
Roy Evans"

now, what is European football going to do now without Liverpool :-)

sandbox v www

Hello everybody,

Someone has written a workflow to trawl the myExperiment site. However,
he initially had it trawling www.myexperiment.org . The person and I
are wondering how he was meant to know to use sandbox.myexperiment.org
instead of www.myexperiment.org.

Thanks in advance and Happy Easter,

Alan
