How to post

Dear List Members,

recently the amount of spam submitted to the address
"foodwebs@..." has substantially increased.  Until now, all
messages form non-members were automatically deflected to me, and
sometimes a serious contribution was among them, which I then posted
by hand.  Now I will reconfigure the list-server to trash all this.

If you want to post a message to the list, please send it directly to
foodwebs@... using the email account BY WHICH YOU REGISTERED
(the To: address indicated in the email header).  If this is a problem
or you do not get the message echoed back from the list, please send
it directly to me <axel@...>.

Dear colleagues,
this is to inform you that we will be hosting an international summer 
school at the University of Parma (Italy) from the 16-20 June 2008. The 
aim is to introduce ecological network analysis to graduate students and 
early postdocs: from data collection to theoretical analysis, using a 
wide array of network types (food webs, ecosystem models, 
plants-pollinators networks, etc.) and mathematical and statistical tools.
