Defensa de tesis de Pablo Tarela

Estimados colegas:

Pablo Tarela, integrante del Programa de Hidráulica Computacional del INA dirigido por Angel Menéndez, acaba de defender exitosamente su tesis doctoral en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la UBA. El Jurado estuvo compuesto por nuestros distinguidos colegas Eduardo Dvorkin, Guillermo Marshall y Carlos Vionnet. Les adjunto el dictamen del jurado, donde se describe la naturaleza del trabajo, los aportes originales y la evaluación.

Calendario de congresos AMCA

------ CALENDARIO DE ACTIVIDADES AMCA -------------------------------

Este  es el  calendario  de actividades recopilado  por  la
Asociacion Argentina de Mecanica Computacional.

CONSULTA POR WWW:

El calendario puede ser consultado via WWW, ingresando en la
pagina Web de la AMCA:

http://venus.arcride.edu.ar/AMCA

El titulo de cada congreso conduce a una pagina con informacion
sobre el mismo.

CONSULTA POR E-MAIL:

La consulta al calendario de congresos y cursos puede realizarse
tambien por e-mail. Para ello se debe enviar un mensaje a

 majordomo@...

conteniendo una linea de texto:

 get congresos calendar.txt

para obtener el calendario por e-mail; o bien una linea que diga

 get congresos volume.aamm

para obtener informacion sobre un congreso en particular. En este
ultimo caso 'aamm' son los numeros que aparecen en el extremo derecho
del listado del calendario e indican ano y mes del mensaje. Por
ejemplo 'get congresos volume.9905'

CONTRIBUCIONES PARA EL CALENDARIO:

Para incluir cualquier informacion sobre reuniones (congresos, cursos,
etc.) que sea de interes para el Notiamca, se puede enviar un mensaje
a  Mario Storti <mstorti@...>,  o bien a Victorio

Sobre el NotiAMCA

Estimados Colegas

Hemos  procedido  a  incorporar  al  boletin  electronico  NotiAMCA  a
aquellos miembros de  la AMCA que no lo  recibian, y cuyas direcciones
de e-mail habian sido actualizadas en ocasion del ultimo ENIEF.

La idea es que todos los miembros de la AMCA reciban este boletin pues
es a traves  de el que se difunde la mayor  parte de las informaciones
de interes.

Les recordamos  que para anular  la suscripcion al NotiAMCA  basta con

si es  que el  mensaje se envia  desde la direccion  electronica donde

Heat-Diffusion Equation. The Stefan and Related Problems", MAT, Serie A,

where you can download the corresponding pdf file containing the
introduction (it is the print version with 16 pages) and all references
with a total of 300 pages, divided in 11 different data bases; for
example, there exist 4039 titles published in scientific journals.

	I remark that it is a personal bibliography (I have a copy of
all titles), which began as a hobby in 1977 being a Ph. student in Paris
and now I offer it to you as a gift. I hope that this bibliography can
be useful for you.

	If you find that there exist some titles from you or some of
your colleagues which are not included in it you can help me by send the
corresponding reprints, technical reports, proceedings, books, thesis or
photocopies of them (please, dont send only the references). These will
be incorporated in a future up-dated edition.

I take this opportunity in order to offer our collection MAT (see
www.austral.edu.ar/MAT) in an interchange basis to all universities or
journals in order to improve my work; now, due to the exponential growth
of the numbers of publications, it is almost impossible to continue the
bibliography without money and the help of the scientific community by
sending me journals, reprints, etc. If you have something to offer me
