Fwd: A Joe Frank Wiki!

I'm forwarding the following message, which doesn't seem to have made it to the list on the first attempt.
(We'll see if I have better luck.)

Hello everyone:

I have started a Joe Frank Wiki! The goal of the site is essentially
to catalog Joe Frank's body of work. It was inspired by the Joe Frank
Reminder, a great starting point created by Erik Shirokoff.

http://www.jfwiki.org

There are no advertisements or pop-ups.

I hope you enjoy it, and more importantly I hope you will join me in
improving it. I have included the text of the "about this site" page
below.

Very, very nice!

Congratulations, Will.

Thanks for the great resource; I already had a chance to make an edit!

Beau.

No February premium content or news item on the JF site?

Aren't they supposed to release the Joe Frank tshirts soon?

Feb JF New material-- films too!

Thoughts/questions:

zima-- was that the actually commercial, with him in a t-shirt in the first
half? I heard he did the commercial, but never saw it.

thank you you're beautiful-- don't know where this came from, but it was nice
to _see_ him do a show (or part of a show) in a make shift studio with a mic.
kind of like when I saw Ira Glass do a live show. nice.

... I just read the site news... Joe was in the ER. No more detail about him,
except that he's fine and back home. Goto the site.

I really hope he's doing well.

(subliminal message?)

At the moment, I am listening to Iceland 1 CD purchased on JoeFrank.com.  I just noticed that Windows Media Player is reporting that the track I am listening to is Weight of the World from the Peachtree Road CD by Elton John.  Surreptitious humor or embarrassing CD-RW recycling?

I’ll look at others when I get home.  Anybody else seen this?

RE: (subliminal message?)

That's because of CDDB... the online CD names database.  It tracks the number of "tracks" and length of tracks... and guesses based on that data what you have.  It's quite possible to have a few or even many possible selections come up...

RE: (subliminal message?)

Could be that they have the same CD signature (I think it’s a relatively short hash)—this has happened to me with other (non-Frank) CDs using CDDB support with Winamp.
