I liked this shot quite a bit. The hairy leg ruins the aesthetics a little
bit (for me, anyway). Some more dramatic lighting (more shadows) might make
it better, too. Just some ideas in case you ever cover that ground again.

Chris, your shot caught such a great pose and expression that it maddens me
that the people in the left background are in such sharp focus, while the main
subject isn't. Those background people disrupt my focus (pardon the pun) on
the speaker. A closer shot, from lower down, and aiming up so as to include
more building and less people would have made it a much more compelling photo,
in my opinion.

Nice shot, Mark. Besides being a good composition, the lighting must've been
somewhat challenging but you've captured the important details and kept some
nice highlighting in there.

Heh heh, good capture. It's great when people are so open with their
expressions.

Easton Maudit Northamptonshire #8 & #9

I have been concentrating on b&w lately and have taken to carrying 2 brands
of camera loaded with Kodak T400CN. On this particular day I took very few
shots because of the weather but got these whilst sheltering from the rain
under some Cedar trees.

Re: Photo from Oirland

I liked the tones but I really wanted a larger view of it. Nice b/w!

This is the one that worked for me. I like the colors and the nice touch
with the thongs.
