Re: Miles in Saabs

I just traded a 1993 900 Convertible w/ 192,000 miles (142k me, 50k 
original owner)
for a restored 1992 900 Convertible w/ only 242,000 miles on it. The 
"new" one drives
like it's on rails and has turbo depth that my old one had missed for 
the last 50k mi.
I should be able to take it well past 300k - who knows, maybe way more?

For fun I'm re-restoring a '78 99 w/ 145k mi on it...expect to take it 
well into 200k+

Between these 3 cars and over 200+ total miles, I've added up the gas, 
the repairs
and the insurance and still coming out under $0.33 / mile....

Sounds like one of those deals which makes sense...

unfamiliar with?   i'm missing the cars saab really
made with 3 or less cylinders! *grin*
yeah i'd love to be there! i'd take my 67 stroker out

That looks like my driveway.... It's been that way since October.  
Highly unusual for the snow to stay that long without melting here in  
the foothills of the Rockies...... but it just keeps coming, more every  
week. Skiing is superb; we go twice every week, but never on weekends.  
Looks like the red 9K is driving today...gotta go. Tom
