Back when I was originally racing the red 93 with Randy Cook we had the standard drum brakes on it. When set up properly with a matched set of shoes, they stopped every bit as well as the disc brakes. I think the only real advantages to the disc brakes are: - little maintenance/no regular adjustment - more readily available parts - no need for drying in really wet weather That's my $0.02 Ken Payne ------------------------ Yahoo! Yeah, because like an idiot I bought it on eBay a while back and the guy
told me it was period Swedish issue. Bah. So, until someone finds me a
proper 1966-vintage black-on-white Swedish tag set, those stay. Why? You
want them when I'm done?
