It's set up by the MySociety folk who do the write to them website,

Probably I'm the last to hear about it, but it seems like a good idea.

I say that but I'm gobsmacked that ALL the above entered my SPAM box instead of my INBOX!!
This, after logging in this morning to find I had NO messages in my inbox & NO folders.
Logging out & logging in again solved THAT one but as for the arrival in spam, well.......

From Trevor Sheppard

Hi folks,
Are there any other owners/ex-owners out there with a 57 foot Heron who
might be able to tell me the capacity of the fuel tank?

57 foot heron! Never mind the fuel tank, what ever size is the wingspan?

I'll get me coat :-)

Regards,

Andrew

Never mind the wingspan - how much does it eat?  No wonder some whales are endangered.

BW licensing at Leeds, who recently tried to fob me off with a
reissued number for Sanity Again, which would have made her appear to
be about 12 months older than she is.

When challenged, the woman at Leeds explained that the original boat
to which it had been issued, Chloe, was similar, so they thought it
would be OK.

Chloe is a 20 foot Norman GRP cruiser, and SA is of course a 70 foot
steel narrowboat....

Whaddya mean, they're grateful for any missionary that comes north and shows them the true path. Having
said that, I'm a bit of a convert, I wouldn't go south again other than to France, as the life here converting
the lost souls is so much better than the southern experience. ;-))
It is, truly, a hard life but someone has to do it! I've just come back from the pub after another session of
trying to convert the northerners to the benefits of southern beer.......it's proving difficult, so I
may just have to go back and try again, and again, until I achieve success! ;-)))
