Uuh - I guess this would be a good place for the 7th conference ;-) .

Though this is interesting please note that this list is only one part
of the project. There is also a German discussion list for instance.
Both of these lists build the Oekonux community. Because of this there
is another mailing list called [pox] (http://www.oekonux.org/project/)
where things concerning the whole project are considered and decided.
(I Cc'd this mail to [pox].)

In general something along these lines seems possible to me. An
Oekonux conference needs at least a year of preparation. If this works
with your plans this could be an option to be considered.

I will. With 100EUR the registration fee seems acceptable to me for a
scientific conference.

Anyone else going there?

joomla is a very successful open source cms (formerly known as mambo). the
joomla day is a conference with workshops and lectures where joomla users and
developers get together.

[ox] Informal Oekonux meeting on LinuxTag 2006

Hi!

There will be some Oekonuxis at the LinuxTag 2006 in Wiesbaden,
Germany. Another nice chance to meet, talk a bit and have a couple of
coffees or beers together. Please drop a note on

	http://en.wiki.oekonux.org/Oekonux/Events

if you would like to come.

Oekonux meetings (was: [ox-en] FLOSS conferences)

Hi Andres!

We started to plan informal meetings some months ago. Please refer to

	http://en.wiki.oekonux.org/Oekonux/Events

for a list. Everyone who wants to arrange something feel free to
create a sub-page there. Of course such meetings are / should be
announced on the discussion lists also.

[ox] Audio recordings from 3rd Oekonux conference

Hi!

Finally I found the time to edit and enhance all the audio recordings
from the 3rd conference. Please check out

	http://www.oekonux-conference.org/documentation/audio.html

You are welcome to download files. However, Christoph who donates the
web space (thanks :-) ), would love if this could be done file by file
and not in one huge download session to save his connection from
overload.
