Eli's trying to camouflage with witty sophistry that he's a 'conspiracy-nut', too: His conspiracy is that 2500 feet of concrete and steel were literally pulverized into a heap of smoldering ash by 19 heavily surveilled fanatical brown kooks who managed to circumvent NORAD and defy both the laws of physics and thermodynamics using their wits and, of course, box cutters. It's a theory so absurd as to hardly merit comment. Perhaps we could all agree to disagree and chalk it up to Jesus. There's an idea. Jesus did it. Lenin, on the other hand, ignores the brown kooks all together, claiming that a 50-story steel structure could collapse onto itself at free-fall speed. How simple things become when one averts one's eyes from material reality! While their conspiracy theory - let's call it the Stephens-Ashcroft Hypothesis - may be compelling enough for some to accept, I'm afraid I find it a bit too... miraculous.
