Financial Year is like 2005-2006, 2006-2007 etc.. So, cases to be segregated like that way only with the same headings. The document contains the Financial year also. Pls update the same way.

In Finance section, next to each case saying Beneficiary Name, Amount Sponsored the case link will provide. So, both Cases and finance will b in sync. That’s why cases should b based on financial year.

Need Help: this is for the the needy who can request us for support. Do v hv any issues

Change1:

------------
Change "Current Educational" and "Current Medical" to 2010 Educational/Medical....

so that no changes are needed for 2011.

Change2:

------------

All current open cases goes into "Urgent cases" link and once case is closed, it moves into <year> Education/Medical link

Change 3:

--------------

There is also a need for some generic headings like Awareness Camps/Drives in the main page. So all the below items including say RTI or Ganesha idols shop goes there as they are more of awarenss camp which we will continue in future. You can change the heading if u dont like

1) Blood donation camps -

2) Plantation drives -

Change4:

---------------

What is "Need Help" link in main page, please remove that.

Hope everyone agrees.

    Dear TMADians,

Please find the below last weekend activities update.

Plantation Drive <at> Govt Kannada Primary School, Vimanapura, Near BEML Gate:

24-11-2010: After so many visits to schools for permission to conduct Plantation Drive, Kamal and Srinivas got confirmation for coming Saturday. Both visited Agricultural University at Hebbal and got the information about Saplings. Srinivas (1st year MBA Student) joined Kamal to visit AU in his lunch break in the college. Great work by Kamal and Srinivas.

25-11-2010: As Kamal got fever, planned to post pone this drive to next week.

26-11-2010: Though Kamal is not recovered well, disagree to postpone and asked Pavan to assist him to bring saplings. Kamal and Pavan started at 9AM from Marathahalli, reached Agricultural University, Hebbal at 11AM, brought 29 saplings of different kinds (Marjoram, Ashoka, Multi Vitamin, Adathode, Red Sandal and Asam Indigo) which costs Rs.220 and dumped at the school by 2 PM. Then Kamal went to office also. It shows his commitment towards service. Kudos to Kamal. We should appreciate as well as learnt from him that never miss any promise at any cost. Kamal is the Project coordinator for Plantation Drive at Schools. Srinivas and his friends Sagar and Suresh dug up 29 pits for plantation.

    27-11-2010:

We successfully completed the Plantation drive and also Drawing Competition <at>

We reached the venue at 8 AM with saplings and drawing materials and interacted with the school teachers about the event organizing followed by arrangements and prayer.

By 9 AM we started drawing competition for the students and simultaneous arrangements for plantation like cleaning the ground, getting water etc.

By 10 Am we finished finalizing the drawing competition winners and distributed prizes for the same followed introduction about TMAD and some valuable speech given by Suresh Pyda (Pavan’s Cousin) about

the importance of Education and Plantation. The students are participated enthusiastically for interactive session and shared their ambitions like Police, Military, Teacher, Engineer, Doctor, Lawyer etc.. They know so many options to shape their career but need guidance to achieve the same.

Students started plantation which continued till 12 PM with lot of enthusiasm and energy.

We announced prizes for the team whose tree is well grown at the final day of academic year.

    Photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/tmadblr/PlantationDriveDrawingCompetitionAtTankySchoolHal271110#

Volunteers: Suresh Pyda, Vani (Suresh’s wife), Vasu Pyda, Ganesh (Vasu’s Son), Kamal, Srinivas, Bijesh, Suresh, Charan, MV Rao, Swetha and Pavan.

Upcoming Plan: Suresh P is interested to sponsor for Plantation Drive <at> one school and as there is no proper security at this school. He will prepare the quotation to make fencing around the school and let us know his contribution as well. His wife Vani is agreed to conduct Meditation classes to the children on coming Saturday.

As per our observation, fencing of govt school also to be considered before choosing Plantation. So, we will find the Govt schools which have proper fencing and Private schools which are interested to prepare digs on their own cost (mandatory) and sponsor for few plants (not mandatory) and do the plantation.

Caring also as important as planting the saplings. Please let us know your suggestion/concerns.

     Teaching <at> Vivek Nagar School

8th and 9th Classes are combined and divided into 4 groups.
We made them play Word Game which you might have heard of already.
Group A starts with a word.
Group B has to come up with a word starting with last letter of Word of Group A and soon.
Along with the word, Spelling and Meaning are also required.
We added difficulty incrementally starting with 3 or more letter words ending up with 5 or more letter words.
Students were literally shouting throughout. Had some real fun managing them.

True...we can go ahead with this....

we can go ahead with bulk printing of calendars, which might be expensive.
            Or
We can have our own calendars printed with common  material supplied by the TEAM(TMAD) may be with addresses, phonenumbers, and some activities frm each chapter for each month(Blr can have more months/pages :))
We can get thm printed on zoomin or snapfish where we have lot of offers going on right now...

zoomin has a 50% off on calendars right now...so with 100 or 200 bucks we can have our calendar on our desk.

I wanted to tell a lot abt TMAD to my colleagues here but I dont want to go drum beating to each one of them.....This calendar idea mite help me...and I am ready to spend some amount frm my pocket for this :)

              Arun,

We need to do lot of things.
              1. selecting the photos
              2. what needs to be printed on the photos
              3. how/where to print

we can form a separate to team to work on this.

if we want to raise funds with this we can order bulk print. if 50 member team sells 10 pc each <at> Rs 100/- we can raise 50,000/-

              Thanks,

True...we can go ahead with this....

we can go ahead with bulk printing of calendars, which might be expensive.
              Or
We can have our own calendars printed with common  material supplied by the TEAM(TMAD) may be with addresses, phonenumbers, and some activities frm each chapter for each month(Blr can have more months/pages :))
We can get thm printed on zoomin or snapfish where we have lot of offers going on right now...

Re: Do u know anybody from Naidupet, Nellore

                Dear Team,

Day before yesterday (06-12-2010), we called baby Mounika (7 Yrs, from Naidupet) and parents to Hyderabad and went to CARE Hospitals, Banjarahills. I and Surendra went to there around 10.30 am (Since we both returned from native places, couldn’t able to be early). Since it was Monday and Dr. Nageswar Rao (Pediatric Cardiologist) is out of station from past 1 week, patients flow was heavy yesterday. So it took complete day to go through all the process.

Doctor done required tests (ECHO Test), and told us baby needs to go for surgery. A medium size hole is there in baby’s heart and due to that functionality of heart is not proper. So she has to be operated. And he asked us to meet Mr. Dr. Jagannath (Surgeon) on the same day evening. But surgeon is not available that time. So I asked babay’s parents to wait till next day and meet surgeon. The next day morning Mr. Suresh (Physician assistant & Arogya Sree Incharge) has followed up with them.

Dr. Jagannath, suggested to get the ECG test for baby. After going through ECG report and other tests, doctor decided to operate baby in the next week. Since baby is very week, parents are very much sacred for this short period. So they requested doctor to give them one month time for operation. Mean time they will try to take care of baby’s health. So doctor gave them some medicines till the time. We are expecting them to come to Hyderabad after Sankranthi.

Also I have shown baby Ch. Maniangel, 5 Yrs (from Warangal) reports to the assistant doctors (Since Dr. KNR was too busy), they asked to get the baby once for echo test, because the current reports are taken 2 months back.Generally doctors prefer to check current status of the patients. So I called them to come on this Saturday.

                Impressions on TMAD:

Dr. Nageswar Rao recognized me when I took the baby for check-up. Since he was too busy yesterday, he couldn’t able to discuss with me regarding our group.

Mr. Suresh (Physician assistant & Arogya Sree Incharge), recognized me being there with the patient whole day. And he enquired me and came to know that I took leave yesterday to assist the baby at hospital. So he said, from the next time onwards, get the patient and connect to him and go. He will follow up then. And asked to come in the evening to know status and all.

                Expenses:

Since financial background is very poor, they couldn’t able to afford even traveling expenses. So we have arranged as follows.

Travelling from Naidupet (Nellore Dist) to Hyderabad –Rs. 500 (Arranged from a donor (Surendra’s friend))

Food Expenses – Rs. 200 (Given By Shilpa Pagadala)

Travelling from Hyderabad to Naidupet – Rs. 500 Arranged from Team account.

                 Regards,
                Shilpa Pagadala,

                    Shilpa/Surendra,

Great job done by u both. This kind of relationship with Drs and Hospital Management v r expecting every where. U did a splendid job by putting leave to ur office. V need to learn from u that "never loose the promise at any cost". Because of u both only, v can help this girl.

Every time, v may not require lot of funds to help for Medical cases. The bridge between Govt Schemes (Aarogya Sri scheme) and the needy is required which is our motto. For this case, v supported for their Traveling expenses only.

                    Thanks,
                    Pa1.
