Respected Sir / Madam,
This
is to inform you regarding for helping the needy girl. The girl named
VINEETA, eighteen year old, need help to survive. She is under observation
of AIIMS' doctors for last fourteen months.
She
is a heart patient. After CT Angiography of the thorax and neck, it
has come to know that there is complete blockage and thickening of wall
of veins of heart and throat. Her hormones have been misbalanced. Due
to this, she is gaining weight day by day and facing breathing problem.
There are only single vein among four veins of mind is working. Due
to this her eyesight also has been affected. Right now she can't see
properly, walk properly and eat properly even stand properly. Also many
times she gets fainted due to these problems.
Right
now she has admitted in Khanpur under the observation of Dr. Mittal.
The team of doctors declared that after operation she can't survive
for long time. That's why they recommended a regular course of medicines
for life time till complete fitness.
We

I checked with Karuna guys they said that they don't need any further consultation because the doctors have already diagnosed the exact problem and they have given prescription for 6 months.
So far it has been 2 months and the doctors say that there is 35% improvement.
So currently their requirement is to provide medicines for the girl for another 4 more months.
I have told them that if they can send their representative to my office, I can go along with that person and buy the required medicines (for the amount which we decide) and then hand over the medicines to the representative who will give it to the girl.
As of now they have immediate requirement to buy the medicines for the girl child by Thursday evening because they need to give the medicines on Friday morning.

I have gone through the documents you sent
The child has Takayasus arteritis , an inflammation of major blood vessels which has led to occlusions of some of her important blood vessels in the neck
She is cushingoid due to long term steroid use
She actually needs to see a rheumatologist and cardiothoracic surgeon
if she is close to chennai she can be shown to Dr Ramakrishnan at Apollo
The eye problems could be seen at Sankara Nethralaya chennai
My friend Dr Sudharshan can help (

I do not know of any rheumatologist in general hosp who could work closely with the cardiologists in bangalore
i you insist the child be seen in bangalore i wil try to find out if any one can coordinate

I checked with them and they said that they will send a representative to meet me next week.
They are happy if we can take care of the medicines (part of it is also OK with them) of this girl. They said that the cost of the medicines monthly would come to 5000+ INR.
