Hey Guys....a brief intro about a new project I propose (Education
Group) :

Nirali was a 2yr old little girl who was very close to my heart, who
passed away this April 27th, 2007, fighting ALL - Acute Lymphoblast
Luekemia. For more on her brave effort to fight the disease, and the
whole story, pls visit her website at www.savenirali.com. In the
updates section, you can read how it all started, and what all the
parents and this little child underwent, and in the support section
you will see messages from tons of well wishers and supporters, tht
includes some of my messages aswell. FYI, I donot know this family
personally, and have only met them thru the website, but luvvd Nirali
as my own, since day 1.

This little angel has touch so many lives, including mine, and many of
us who met thru the website, wish to do something in her honour &
memory. Many have expressed their wish to join this group, and soon we
will see some new members here.

I tho ught of doing this thru our group, if all of you support, and
plan the project with ur help.

Here is a gist of what I propose to do:

Nirali Naik's Little Scholar Programme: A small fund ( or how much
ever comes in donations to this Cause, a part of it) that will help
provide basic thru elementary education to kids who come from families
with limited means. We can also meet some Book & other stationery
needs of these students on this project.

Nirali Naik's Little Scholar Award: Something that the topper in the
class will be honoured with, a cash award, that can be redeemed
against school fee pay.

Implementation part: Choose a school or a family, where we can
implement it this year, and in future, to where feasible.

In short, this is what I would like to do.

Our own already existing members, who will be interested to donate to
this project, please mail back. I am expecting some funds from other
so urces aswell. So lets see on the whole how it goes.

If any member has a thought, or a question on this, pls shoot a mail.
I will be more than happy to clarify/answer.

Since we are already done with this year, perhaps we have couple of
months down the line to plan this project well. Needless to mention
though, I will go with the consensus on the decision about this proposal.

Yeah, the mail count all of a sudden dropped. and we never any got
any email from prasanthi that she wants to take off for some time
which is veru unusual. Prior she used to mail the group abt her
absence. As she is the main point of contact hope she told abt the
status of the Cases to somebody.

Regarding Registration part, we need to seriously think about it.
Are we really ready for it? agreed that everyone needs a break, but
if some one or other are feeling like this everytime, should we go
for registring the group. The group should have lot of planning and
vision, focus and be organized. Its just not abt roles and
responsiblities, How serious we are abt those responsibilities.
Anyways, US memebers can't be a part of registration, People in HYD
have to think abt it.
