Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce that the ICSD 2013 Call for Abstracts is now OPEN.
Call for Abstract Opens: July 1, 2012
Deadline for Abstracts: September 17, 2012
ABOUT THIS CONFERENCE: The ICSD 2013 conference will examine new and emerging issues in social development. Leading international scholars from various professions, experiences, and expertise, will address long standing concerns that include, Millennium Development Goals; policies and priorities; institutional autonomy; poverty and hunger; global climate change; continuous marginalization and social exclusion; social justice and human rights issues; and mobilization of governmental, non-governmental, and civil society institutions that address the widening gap between wealth and poverty. With Africa, and Uganda, as the location for this conference, attention will highlight the importance of the developing world and its continuous contribution to these issues.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Create an account for paper submission through Easy Chair by visiting:
- Once you've logged into Easy Chair, click "New Submission"
- We invite that all papers reflect the theme of “New Frontiers”
- Please ensure that your submission attachment is in a PDF format and has the following information:
· Title of Presentation or Paper
· Abstract (maximum of 300 words)
· Type of Presentation (e.g., research paper, poster, panel discussion, workshop, etc)
Note: Full papers are not necessary at this time
ABSTRACT REVIEW/EVALUATION PROCESS:
- Submission Deadline September 17, 2012
- Program Committee will review submissions as abstracts are received
- Authors will be notified of their abstract status by November 15, 2012
