Ecotopia 2003 Booklet

Hello from the EYFA project co-ordinators,
How are you? We hope that you are enjoying the autumm and you are 
involved in many interesting activities. 
We are writing to you with reference to the Ecotopia Ukraine last August. 
We are now preparing a Booklet of the meeting which attempts to offer open 
information of the issues that were discussed there, the organizations and 
individuals that participated, and the projects that were presented or that you 
are currently working on. The idea is to create a kind of guide of the meeting 
to open to everybody the access to the knowledge and skills given in every 
workshop, and also to compile the contacts and details of all the groups, 
individuals and projects involved in it. 
In order to do it the most complete and accurate as possible, we need your 
active and quick participation by sending us your general evaluation of the 
whole Ecotopia: what do you think about place, organisation, atmosphere, 
workshops in which you participated and activities performed. As we are 
trying to make the Booklet creative and entertaining, we would thank you 
very much for all the drawings, poems, jokes (and also gossips) you can 
contribute with. 
We want to edit and distribute it both in English and in Russian, so we 
have planned to get all the materials together before the end of December. Be 
aware that we need to translate and arrange everything, so please write 
something and send us any thing you feel may be worth sharing with all of us.

Ecotopia Ukraine List of Contacts

Dear participants of Ecotopia 2003 Ukraine,

There is a lot of people asking for the contact details of the participants who were in 
Ecotopia Ukraine. Here in EYFA we prepared a Data Base of contacts with all the 
people who attended Ecotopia 2003. In this message we wanted to ask you if you 
have any inconvenience with giving this list of contacts to the participants who ask for 
it. I will wait for several days, and unless you write saying that you have any 
inconvenience, I will understand that you have no problem about it.

By the way, we are updating our general Data Base. If you are interested to include 
the details of your organisation in our DOaC, please, send a message to:

Hallo,

I think it will be nice to have a list of groups who participaded in
Ecotopia, but NOT a public list with all the private adresses.
Junk mails, secret services, bussiness interests etc. may misuse such a
list and I don´t want it.
We shall protect these private datas and it is out duty as well concerning
data protection laws. So I am not fine with giving my adress to everyone.
If someone ask for mine - you can ask me - and it will be okay.
Other special request for adresses could be handled in the same way.

Dear Ekki and all,

Yes, we have being thinking of the risks of spreading around the list of
contacts, and we concluded that the people who need a contact can ask
EYFA, and then we would be the mediators in the process. May be this is a
bit slow or unconvenient for some people but we avoid all of us receiving
a lot of spam.

Ecotopia Ukraine List of Contacts

Dear Ekki,

Some people seem to have more problems than others with regards to "privacy" 
rights and contact details, but we'll ask anyone when someone else is asking for 
her/his contact.

By the way, we are planning to include a list with the details of all the organisations 
that were at Ecotopia in the Booklet (except from those who are not interested on it, 
of course).

We'll let you all know as soon as it is ready.

for Russian-speaking participants: translators are needed

Privet,
we are starting to make the Ecotopia booklet with some stories 
from the participants.

we will need somebody who speaks English and Russian to help 
us to translate some articles. and maybe even help with lay-out of 
the Russian version (Quark-Express).

Украинская молодежная
волонтерская сеть. Мы также  проводим лагеря. Перевод
не нужен. Я сделала
компьютерный перевод.
