Problems for Ecotopia

Dear All:

There are some problems which have been making the
organization of Ecotopia very tiresome, and now they
are reaching a critical point.

Some of it is personal between me and Tamara Malkova,
another part is cultural or even historical, and a
part is a matter of ways of working and treating
people. It is important ot make a working analysis,
which does not avoid the personal questions but has
enough perspective .

Compared with EYFA office and other groups, Green
Dossier appears as a centralized organization with an
institutional approach.

And to organize Ecotopia by means of two to three days
visits to talk with local authorities does not seem to
fit with the whole idea. It is a totally top to bottom
approach.

Also, a way in which there is a strict division of
tasks or "jobs" and little commmunication, or all the
communication goes through one person.

The rest of the people are left depending on her/him.
In my case this dependence was speciallly severe
becasue of language.

I have not a lot to add to my previous long message. I just should
say: please, read more carefully my messages and you will not feel
lack of information and communication.
The most important thing for now is not our personal relations
(for me it doesn't matter) but preparing Ecotopia and good relations
between all ecotopians and locals. You made already so many troubles
for Ecotopia in Kosiv, so many mistakes that I'm really worry. Till
today we successed to restart some of our good relations with locals
after your staying there last time, this took us about one month. Some
of agreements we should forget and look for other ways, thank you very
much, we have new and new problems because of you. I'm afraid you will
distruct our relations again being there, I'm not sure we will have
time and power to start from the beginning on 13th when we will come to
Sheshory. I waste too much time only for this correspondence with you
instead of doing other urgent tasks or just relax on the weekend as
all other people in this mailing list.
By the way, do you remember that according your legal documents you are in Ukraine as a guest of
Irina Rozmaritsa and stays in her house in Kiev? You also may have
historical and cultural problems with a local police if they become in
interest what are doing there. As well as Irina.
I'm leaving just now for 6 days, hope to have possibilities to check my
e-mail, but I'll not have possibilities to be in internet the whole
day, for sure.
Hope, I will not face new troubles from you when I'll come back.

dear javier,
thank you for all your input, do not be distressed, this is all part of the 
transformation you are part of.  use all this to your advantage. i do not 
know enough about the situation to help out, but i do hope you all have 
dayly meetings in the morning or evening or both in wich you meditate 
together or sing songs together or do whatever creates a good group energy 
before you set out for the dayor night.  give eachother space, use a talking 
stick or symbolic object to take and hold whenever someone is expressing 
themselves, whilst the others listen. or let the object go around and let 
people say or do their thing (without taking too much time).
it is a big operation that you are part of and to have it all work without 
problems would be a miracle. we are all learning and growing and personally 
i am very impressed with what you all are pulling of. the world that we try 
to change is what it is largely because we don't know how to deal with 
situations like this in a non egoistic way, so right here, right now you can 
make a difference. take the oppertunity to do so.
i have been following ecotopia mail and i notice that slowly people are 
getting more and more frustrated. i seems that everybody in the group is 
doing their utmost best in their own way, so to improve on communication     
seems the most important.

august for me roisin ni ghairbhith, my son corran
breathnach and poppy and ashen wilson please as we
will not be able to make it to amsterdam for the
18th.i hope this is alright. by the way it looks like
