Hi Hans,
If you choose to get individual e-mails, then you have the senders e-mail
address in the from field. Or you can log into the sans site and go to
members, then send an e-mail from there.
Please remind me in a month or so, and I'll send you a care package. I think
alot of us probably were planning on it anyway. When will it be warm enough up
there? It looks like everyone from Tennessee on up is having a Cold day!

Joe,
The owner of Boggy Creek bromeliads (name forgotten) told me years ago how
tough some aechmeas can be, including recurvata. (Until the gasheater went
dead this winter for some time, I had a number of recurvata subpsecies,
beautiful species!) They survived frosts for many years, as long as the
frost did not last too long.
Some neoregelias, more tendder than the hard-leafed aechmeas surived the
gasheater failure, as did a small Euporbia obesa, which die on me all the
time when in the summer they get a drop or two of water too many. It was
nestled under other plants, perhaps that was enough protection?
A huge aechmea, "Little Harvey", survided as well, while others, looking ok,
fell apart when touched.
Could I possible buy some tillandsia recurvata and usnoides from you? (Once
it warms here in NE Pa., where 10 inches of the damn white stuff fell last
night.)
Is there a method of contacting memebers of the group without sending it to
the group as well?
Hans
