Hi John and list,
This is Labor day weekend so I expect things will be quiet on most of the lists.
However, I am at home on a rainy day so made a folder called "Faye's" with three Sans.
First are two photos of my Bally 12681.
Next two of S. aubrytiana. Longest leaf on this is 23", width 4". Smooth surface. This has not bloomed for me,
came from the Huntington via Norma (thanks so much!).
Finally two photos of S. fasciata, which I thought might be your aubrytiana, John, but now I'm not so sure.
Longest leaf is 23", width 2 1/2". Leaf surface smooth, also more of a red/brown margin than the aubrytiana.
This has not bloomed for me either yet, another Huntington plant.
Well, anyway, any comments or suggestions welcome. Sometimes it's hard to compare one plant with another
due to differences in cultivation. You can see on the photo of Bally 12681 where some leaves are quite
longer than most, probably due to being indoors in low light when they developed, I imagine.
Take care,
Faye
Norfolk VA where we had no rain all summer and now are getting much needed relief!

Some of you might remember back on the old original Sansevieria list that I asked about a Sansevieria I had
under the name Sansevieria aubrytiana that it is obviously not. Well it has just put out the start of a
flower stalk only about 2" long right now. I have taken some pictures of the plant and close ups of the leaves
in the pictures section under the album John's.
The leaves are up to 31" long and 2" to 3.25" wide at the widest. Leaf sheaths up to 5"long white papery. The
leaves are smooth and waxy to the touch both the top and underside of the leafs. Leaf edges reddish-brown.
