need solaris 10 jumbo patch

I'm running Solaris 10 on my Sunblade 2500 at home.

I'm in need of the latest Solaris 10 jumbo patch. The last time I
updated the kernel and everything was a few years ago. Figured it was
about time.

I used to work at Sun but all my internal contacts have moved on.

Any help you can provide is most appreciated.

Thanks.

Wanted: Solaris ISO images, Field Engineer Handbook files, etc

Folks,

I'm trying to make an archive <at> SunHELP of older Solaris releases in ISO
image format, as well as a repository of things like Sun Studio versions
and Field Engineer Handbooks / Sun System Handbooks. Oracle has started
cutting off or removing access, or has removed from the web altogether, a
ton of information that needs to be preserved about the older Sun hardware
and software.

If you've got any of this material and can upload it via FTP, please
contact me off-list for the FTP server address.

Thanks.

Bill

Re: Wanted: Solaris ISO images, Field Engineer Handbook files, etc

Hi Bill

I will hunt out what I have and send you a list so you can let me know
if you already have it.

Not sure if you also want ISOs of older Solaris/Sunos releases as I have
quite a few going back to Sunos 4.1 from memory?

Sun Solaris md5sums?

If anybody has md5sum.txt files from Sun Solaris versions or can compute
them from Solaris ISOs downloaded directly from Sun, would you please post
them on this list? md5sums on Solaris Studio would be appreciated also.

I lost a bunch of files and I want to make sure any replacement copies I
can scrounge are legit. Thanks guys.

Solaris Studio support matrix, SPARC hardware Premier Support EOL pdf

A while back I asked if anyone had Sun Studio 11 for use with Solaris 9.
Somebody said they thought Studio 12 still worked with Solaris 9. Today I
found a matrix on Oracle that shows what versions of Studio work with what
versions of Solaris:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/solarisstudio/training/index-jsp-141991.html

Along the lines of Bill's post a while back that Oracle is dropping support
for most of the prior SPARC line, I found a little more on exactly which
boxes are going off support and when. A PDF is linked from this page:

http://www.scalingbits.com/solaris/eol

Scalingbits looks like a good blog for Sol 10 and 11. I found both the
Solaris Studio matrix and hardware EOL pdf linked from this blog.
