At the end you find:

Looking for prior versions of Solaris?
        Visit our Solaris Releases page.

Which leads you to:

        http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/releases.jsp

There you have it...

It's as easy as that!

MEDIA: The Economist...

I've been on vacation quite a bit recently with no internet access
(trying to kill deer). There was an interesting piece in the Economist
http://www.economist.com/businessfinance/displaystory.cfm?story_id=14861553

It seems to say that the only thing preventing a merger is the EUs
objection to Oracle controlling MySQL. If that is the case, then there
is an easy remedy.

Another proposed

Well, I'm not saying that I agree with the EU. However, spinning off
MySQL would seem to make a lot of sense. Sun never really did much with
it that I can see. And, maybe Oracle could do something with it.
But, I wouldn't put up much of a fight. Surely, Larry values the merger far
more. Fighting just delays the merger longer.

Unrecognized Collection File Content

Anyone seen this error message from Sun Update Manager before? It tells me there are updates but then comes
up with this and does not display any updates to install.

SunOS 5.10 Generic_141415-10 i86pc i386

PCA also refuses to download any patches: Failed (missing patch file).

Not my day!

I didn't realise anyone still uses Update Manager!

That error indicates the patch isn't public. PCA will show it as
missing, but it can't download it.

Might want to ask over on the pca list.

Though it sounds like you have to reassert your SOA with SunSolve. They
make me redo this every couple of months....

It's pretty much the first thing I do after verifying that my network
connectivity
is good and can see Sunsolve. Also, one of the Sun engineers is pretty good
about notifying the pca list when there are sunsolve/patch issues...

Re: Unrecognized Collection File Content

PCA list?

"reassert your SOA with SunSolve"?

Now I really am puzzled.
