PHP5 not building under darwinports.

I've been trying to get PHP5 to work for a number of weeks to no
avail, a bugzilla report has already been filed, but doesn't seem to
be moving anywhere. The Bug refrences is http://
bugzilla.opendarwin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2993 Is their anyway I can
help this along? the bugzilla report already seems to report my
issues exactly.

Thanks - I'd already fetched the distfile from the Unison site by hand
and placed it where dports could find it, but I'm sure this will help
anybody else trying to build in the meantime.

Re: PHP5 not building under darwinports.

Hopefully this isnt a stupid question; but what is radar?
I had issues with php5 and ended up building it myself... I be glad to
see it working...

Re: PHP5 not building under darwinports.

Radar is something we use at Apple and, due to an Alzheimers moment
on my part, was momentarily confused with "bugzilla" when I suggested
that he look at the bug database (I'm so used to saying "see radar"
that it's also part of my fingers' muscle memory). Never mind,
nothing to see here, move along! :)

Abandoned port?

To whoever happens to read these:

Since Felix left the project, it really appears that the exim port is nor longer being maintained, although
maintainership was assigned to Christopher M. Smith (cms <at> opendarwin.org). I just wondered if there was
anyone in a position to look into the situation.

Here's the exim open Bugzilla stats:

Bug #1975 06/23/04 (addressed with my latest update)
Bug #2580 01/14/05 UPDATE: exim-4.44 (never committed)
Bug #3194 05/26/05 UPDATE: exim-4.51 (never committed)
Bug #3796 07/01/05 UPDATE: exim-4.52 (submitted today)

The current version of exim available via darwinports is 4.42.

Hope someone finds time to get this port up to date!

Best regards,
Brad Carpenter

Problems building Aqua ports

I'm trying to build a number of Aqua ports, and I get a similar error on
most of them:

error copying
"/opt/local/var/db/dports/build/file._opt_local_var_db_dports_sources_rsync.rsync.opendarwin.org_dpupdate_dports_aqua_IcyJuice/work/IcyJuice1.0d6src/build/Icy
Juice.app": no such file or directory

Things get built and staged into destroot but don't copy over. Any ideas?

Re: Problems building Aqua ports

They're all broken now. Somebody went and did all this wacky
remapping of build directories but didn't think the problem all the
way through. :-)

Re: Problems building Aqua ports

Hmmmmmm. Does this mean I should wait before trying to write a portfile
for Port Authority? :-)

Re: PHP5 not building under darwinports.

php5 is ok if you remove tidy part. and btw you have to force use of
openssl. I created a platform darwin 8 to do it.
