intel(0): Failed to submit batch buffer

Hi,

On my work desktop (amd64) I am seeing the following message printed several
times a second on the console:

(EE) intel(0): Failed to submit batch buffer, expect rendering corruption or even a frozen display:
Device busy

I first noticed this about a week and a half ago. Yesterdy morning I
upgraded my snapshot to the 2nd feb kernel + userland and the Jan 26th
xenocara sets (from ftp.fr.openbsd.org) and the problem still exists
here.

What follows is a dmesg and Xorg.0.log:

error when building xf86-input-void

After downloading the 3 Nov i386 snapshot, & fetching the CVS trees,
building xenocara stopped when compiling xf86-input-void with the error:

checking for XORG... configure: error: Package requirments (xorg-server >=
1.9.99.1 xproto) were not met:

Requested 'xorg-server >= 1.9.99.1 but version of xorg-server is 1.9.5

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XORG_CFLAGS
and XORG_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg_config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

I there was a check-in for xf86-input-void on 5 Nov:

X needs InputSection for mouse since latest snapshot

Hi,

yesterday I compiled -current kernel, base and xenocara from CVS. Then
my mouse then stopped working without a InputDevice Section specifying
the device file.
With the latest snapshot of 24.3. X could detect the mouse automatically
without any hints from xorg.conf

Is this desired behavior or a new bug/regression?

Cheers,

Christopher
