This is one of the reasons why Free/Open Software is the only way for the

OBP Download

HI All,

I need to download OBP 4.16 for my Blade 1500 silver. Any Idea where to get
without an Oracle Support Contract? I am a private person  and getting an
Oracle Contract for one little file is a little bit too much, i think...

Besides Oracle really, sucks.. ;)

About to be thrown away: v240, 280R and one Ultra 60

Hi,

We're doing some some spring cleaning at the University
and the following hardware is about to be thrown away:
2x v240
1x 280R
1x Ultra 60

If you can afford the shipping (current location: Erlangen, Germany)
they're yours. I don't know the exact specs (what CPU, how much RAM),
but I can boot the machines and look it up, if somebody is really
interested in one of them.

If nobody screams until this Wednesday, 11:00 (CEST),
they'll get trashed.

Delete key not working "normally" in Emacs console mode

Sent this to misc@ a couple of days ago but so far no response. Maybe I
should have sent it to sparc@ but I think this is a generic terminal issue I
don't know how to fix. In case anybody found the same thing on sparc, here
goes.

I am running OpenBSD 5.1 SPARC (32 bit) under QEMU. It seems to work
perfectly except for a couple of minor annoyances one of which may be QEMU
related/fixable. The other issue is the following:

In Emacs 23.4.1 -no-x from packages I am having a problem getting both
backspace and delete to work correctly at the same time, correctly being
defined as backspace causing the cursor to move to the left and consume
characters and delete as remaining in the current column and consuming
characters to the right. Terminal type is sun (default).

Can anyone help with this please? Thank you.
