Porting to the IA64 (Itanium) platform

Hi,

I do not see any mention of Intels' Itanium CPU and a port
of NetBSD.  Is there any work being done on this?

There's currently no ongoing work to do this. It was just one of those
things that never had the right mix of hardware+manpower+urgency..

What I wouldn't give to have such a machine. If anyone's like to send
one my way, I'll charge ahead full force into porting. :) However,
please keep in mind that although stupidly determined, I'm not
experienced yet.
