Java & netbsd/m68k

Does anyone know of any java vms which work on NetBSD/m68k?

Obviously performance is not going to be amazing, but I'm wondering if
anyone has any running at all?

For a long time Kaffe did work, but dependinfing on the phase of the Moon,
only the interpreter did work and not the JIT. What the status is today, I
do not know, for various reasons.

I tried building kaffe:

  cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../../../config -I../.. -I./../..
-I../../../../kaffe/kaffevm/jni -I../../../../include -DTRANSLATOR -DJIT3

-I../../../../libraries/javalib/external/classpath/include -Dunix
-I/usr/pkgsrc/lang/kaffe/work/.buildlink/include -DKAFFE_VMDEBUG
-D_REENTRANT -pthread -O2 -O2 -m68040 -Wall -W -Wextra -O1
-fno-omit-frame-pointer -pthread -MT libkthread_la-signal.lo -MD -MP -MF
.deps/libkthread_la-signal.Tpo -c signal.c -fPIC -DPIC -o

Its tricky without an m68k box... but I've tried to sync
 	config/m68k/netbsd1/md.h with config/i386/netbsd1/md.h -
 	could you download
 	http://mono.org/abs/kaffe-patch-ag into patches/patch-ag
and then try 'make mps && make clean && make package'?

 	Thanks! :)

For quite some time this was an interest of mine as well. I haven't
looked into it recently, however. Perhaps with the opening of Java by
Sun the situation will change for the better.
