5.1 install hangs on Certance CP3100

I'm taking advantage of a slow period at work to install
5.1 on a Certance CP3100.

When booted with the install kernel it get's to where it
"should" start console interaction, but nothing occurs.
The last thing I get is the following

root on md0a dumps on md0b
root file system type: ffs
WARNING: clock gained 402 days
WARNING: CHECK AND RESET THE DATE!

then nothing.

I believe this is related to interupt handing on the
Certance CP3100 AKA TeamASA NPWR-SCE. I thought this
issue was resolved in the past, but it has been many
years since I tried installing NetBSD on one of these
systems.

Re: 5.1 install hangs on Certance CP3100

I dug up Steve's post from many years ago in regards: Fastest ARM board .

I'm looking at Steve's original comment when he added support for the
CP3100. He noted he added support for the HPI workaround, however
when I look at current config file for CP3100 I do not see it, while
"options I80321_HPI_ENABLED	# Uses the (non-maskable) HPI"
is defined in the TEAMASA_NPWR_FC config.

Should
"options I80321_HPI_ENABLED # Uses the (non-maskable) HPI"
be defined in the CP3100 config?

It wasn't in the original CP3100 config, so that's not bitrot,
but OTOH it's still worth giving it a try.
Please report your results :)
