Various man pages related to Xen

Hi lists,

Here's an anthology of man pages associated to Xen. I believe they have
their place directly under man4/, "virtualized" drivers being not really
tied to a specific arch.

Could some of you proof read the HISTORY and AUTHORS sections, so we can
give credit where credit is due? I will commit them afterward.

Thanks!

looks good. Maybe xenbus.4 could mention the xenstore-* commands ?
Unfortunably there's no man page for these, but maybe online documentation
is available (I didn't check).

thanks for working on this !

 Well, documentation for xenstore-* and xm commands pretty much depend
 on <insert your favorite search engine>.

 I was not keen on making the man pages dependent on third party
 applications, especially for those that are expected to evolve in the
 future (xm vs xl, libvirt, stuff like that).

 I just wanted a quick summary so that people stop asking about "what's
 the difference between xvif and tap for HVM?" "PCI passthrough?", etc.

that's reasonable, especially as we may support different xen version
with different command sets in the future.

5.1 has PCI passthrough for dom0 and domU, so it's OK.

online man pages - missing links

Hi,

I've just noticed missing links for some man pages found by apropos -
the man pages are listed, but not as links - e.g.

http://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi/apropos?npf++NetBSD-current
- missing link to "npf.conf (5)"
http://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi/apropos?ifconfig++NetBSD-current
- missing link to "ifconfig.if (5)"

NetBSD Guide - Chapter 32 includes wrong manpage-links

Hi,

just saw the flaw: "Chapter 32. Compiling the kernel" contains links to the
config(8)-tool. This was apparently changed to config(1) in NetBSD 4.0.

By the way: Is there documentation how to build the documentation? I did no
deep research but found nothing on the first two glances (except for a
strange build-script which builds the whole website?!).
I would provide the patches for that directly if somebody would show me the
sources.

Regards, Julian
