Cppunit project taken over by LibreOffice developers

Hi,

LibreOffice heavily uses cppunit; noticing upstream development has been
stalled for years, some LibreOffice developers have taken over.

glib update to 2.30.2

The switching of glib to the 2.30 branch [1] has caused a lot of errors with
my latest bulk build [2].

The problem is with the G_CONST_RETURN macro, if G_DISABLE_DEPRECATED is 
defined this macro doesn't get defined so files that try to use it fail 
with "error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '__attribute__' before ..."

Matthias Drochner has fixed libglade by removing G_DISABLE_DEPRECATED, 
but having a quick look though the logs for my latest bulk build there are 
at-lest 20 other packages with the same problem, 6 of which (not include
libglade) are in the top 10 packages causing the most breakage.

My question is should we fix packages one by one as Matthias has done
or should glib be patched and given a rev bump.

Yes - the packages are guilty. There is a guideline somewhere
which says that the _DISABLE_DEPRECATED definitions are for
development and should be removed in stable releases.

Just tried to reproduce the avahi failure, without success.
It seems that pango-1.29.4 avoids the problem.

"Faking" uname as OpenBSD on MirBSD

Hi!

A while ago, Aleksey Cheusov suggested adding a facility to fake the uname 
as OpenBSD under MirBSD. This could be enabled for problematic packages 
lacking MirBSD support on a case-by-case basis. MirPorts does something 
similar for cdrtools and friends.

I have a working uname replacement script that just needs to be plugged in 
to one of the bin directories under work/.
My question is: how would one best implement this? Would it be possible to 
leverage one of pkgsrc's own mechanisms -- maybe tools or wrappers? Hints 
welcome.

RFC: devel/imake fix for MirBSD

Hi,

compiling any imake-using program on MirBSD currently fails. imake tries 
to execute cc and fails to find it. I do not know why it fails to find the 
cc in work/.wrapper/bin however. In any case, as the default compiler name 
on MirBSD is mgcc instead of cc, I created a patch for devel/imake. With 
this, at least net/vnc compiles correctly.

Is this okay to commit?

This is pretty dirty, IMHO. Wouldn't it be better to patch the packages?
