Re: ipnat/rdr

Oh, n/m, thanks. Think I found a bug in ipnat. If the interface has
hardware csums enabled it won't work. I'll fill a PR asap.

as well as Geoff's PR#23716 there is my PR#24987 which is the same thing.

As to machines that work vs those that don't: Is it perhaps ones where root
is mapped to root that work and where root is mapped to nobody that don't?
As the problem only strikes us on machines where root is mapped to nobody (I
think).

Yep, that's the rule I was looking for! ;-)

I can confirm this...

So, thanks for the hints....

... and: Is somebody working on this?

support for 512MB Kingston DataTraveller2.0 USB in -current?

Hi!

I recently got hold of one 512MB USB flash drive, and tried to see if
NetBSD-current would recognize it, with the following results:

umass0 at uhub0 port 2 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: Kingston DataTraveler2.0, rev 2.00/2.00, addr 2
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus0 at umass0: 2 targets, 1 lun per target

Whereas Transcend JetFlash 1GB gives the following:
(same USB connection, after detaching the Kingston)

umass0 at uhub0 port 2 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: EasyDisk TS1GJFLASHA, rev 1.10/1.00, addr 2
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus0 at umass0: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <, TS1GJFLASHA, 1.00> disk removable
sd0: fabricating a geometry
sd0: 989 MB, 989 cyl, 64 head, 32 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 2026200 sectors

after which I can use fdisk, disklabel, mount etc.

I assume that the 512MB Kingston is not supported?
Any chance of supporting it in -current?
(Or am I just doing something the Wrong Way?)

That looks interesting. Will it catch all attempts to deliver e-mail
directly and redirect it to a local e-mail mail relay? What's the
purpopse? Stopping infected PCs behind your firewall to spread
viruses via SMTP?

	Kind regards

wscons problem

Hello,

having used etcupdate to update the various files in /etc, i must have
done a mistake while merging because now i don't have access to my 4
console logins anymore, but only the first one.
The /etc/wscons.conf file still looks good:
[...]
#screen 0 - vt100
screen 1 - vt100
screen 2 - vt100
screen 3 - vt100
[...]

I can switch between the consoles, but i don't have the "login" screen
on the last 3 consoles.
Also, when i start X, i now have X on the second screen (Ctrl-Alt-F2)
(instead of the 5th screen previously).

thanks for your help,

Renaud.

driver for au8820 based soundcards

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a drvier for au8820 based soundcards in
NetBSD. I've noticed an entry for this device in pcidevs.h and wonder if
there is a way (or early code) to make it work?

Thanks in advance,
Mihail
