Can you try the following on your station:
net.inet.tcp.rfc1323=0
(not a real fix, of course)

Build from sources checked out from CVS with "-r netbsd-1-6-base"
>Description:
I would expect MFS filesystems to continue to work even if they are
too big for physical memory, provided there is plenty of swap space.
However, the system locks up if you fill physical memory with an MFS
filesystem.

I was performing a CVS checkout into a subdirectory under /tmp (which is
an MFS filesystem), when the machine locked up. Nothing seemed to work,

Sylpheed is an e-mail client (and news reader) based on GTK+, running on X Window System

Sylpheed-Claws has many extra features and is regularly synchronised with the main Sylpheed branch.

Apparently SourceForge has changes the way their download pages work in
order to distribute the load across its mirrors. When pkgsrc using ftp to
try to retrive a file it ends up retrieving the pick-a-mirror html page
instead.
This makes it somewhat annoying to build things since I need to download
anything from sourceforge by hand.

This appears to duplicate:

You can close this out yourself if that's the case ;-)
