I found the problem. I was using X.Org and not XFree86 which is incompatible
with some Linux emulated applications.

Operating system design and implementation

The Libre Software Meeting (LSM) has been one of the most important
Free Software events in France since the year 2000 [0].  This year,
the meeting will take place from July 5th to July 9th in Dijon, to the
East of France.  The Libre Software Meeting aims at allowing designers
and developers of free software projects [1] from different places to
meed and and share their ideas and experiences.  LSM is also an
opportunity to discuss societal issues. Technical conferences cover a
wide range of topics, from high-level programming languages to
databases, through security concerns.

Daemon News E-Zine Published

Hi,

I know its late, but we just published the November 2004 issue of 
Daemon News online ezine.

The January 2005 issue is half completed and the February 2005 issue is 
starting to take shape.  A few more articles and a little help and we 
can be caught up.

  Dennis Wecker is doing a NetBSD booth at CeBit this week, and Bernd Sieker, 
who is helping him out for a few days, has put up some pictures[1]. Check it 
out, but please be gentle with the (slow) line, and watch out for more pictures
