Hi
I am completely new in linux, although i have worked with few different programming language in windows. I have installed ACK, i don't know whether it's successfull or not. I don't know how to give the root path as some people suggest.
I just want to compile some .c and .s files using ACK.
Can anyone help plz..??

Sorry for the delay --- I'm afraid I got tied up in other stuff and missed
your message.

Firstly, I'm afraid that I'd have to recommend that if you wanted to get stuff
done, I wouldn't recommend using the ACK; it's simply not there yet. It can't
generate runnable binaries for Linux. All it can do is cross compile for
various other (obsolete) platforms. I'm working on making it produce code for
modern platforms but it's considerably more complicated than it looks.

Secondly, which version of the ACK are you using? And what platforms do you
want to compile for?
