The other day, I was having a conversation via iPhone and someone was  
giving me their contact info.  I am pretty sure I was unable to EDIT  
contacts while in phone mode.  Can someone confirm that?

Also, while having dinner with a new acquaintance the other night, we  
wanted to share contact info.  We each had iPhones.  We wanted to  
bluetooth vCards to each other.

I'm hoping come SDK, a lot of things like:

copy/paste
contact search
vCard sharing
edit contacts in phone mode
etc  will show up

I love the iPhone as is, though - an AMAZING device !

getting a second one and eliminating landline soon :-)

Too bad the bt antenna is a power hungry bitch.  I've seen it suck my  
phone dry in half a day while on standby mode.

To all the pro-Obama or anti-Hillary folks out there

We've all spent a bunch of time irritating Matt and talking about how  
much we hate Hillary/like Obama.  (So stop reading now, Matt.)  To the  
rest of you (the U.S. citizens, at least), time to put your money  
where your mouth is, folks.  Primaries are Tuesday, Obama's name  
recognition still isn't as high as Hillary's, and the geographical  
field is just to large to permit much on-the-ground campaigning, where  
Obama does really well.  Instead, he needs ads, lots of ads.

So I just kicked some dough to the Obama campaign:

At the risk of pissing off the list with what is, frankly, blatant  
political solicitation, If you're serious about not wanting another  
Clinton presidency, it's time to go and help where it counts.  Send  
some money to Obama, who's been gaining daily against Clinton in the

If you don't donate, you'll lose the moral force of bitching and  
whining about President Clinton if the time comes.  :-)
