I still love it, and am hoping to spend more time with it again soon...
much to learn since the 4.7 upgrade, and I've got a few modules I need to
complete (and update for 4.7).

I think the issues started with a hosting issue, but I can't blame them
entirely. I also found a config option that in all likelihood was hurting
me.

It's quite a nice little CMS; I'm a big fan. 4.6 was a bit of a melting

Drupal

I should point out, my problems started about 12 hours after I implemented
some anti-MySpace ModRewrite rules on my server... so my first theory was
the damage done (media files and associated records in the database) were
somehow done by some of the people I may have pissed off. Or it could have
been pure coincidence. Would have had to be a SQL injection exploit I'd
guess, but I've seen no evidence of it anywhere, so I remain stumped.

Forced me to fix my apparently broken backup cron though... and to do a
bunch of cleanup (still working on). My site's been a real test bench, a
lot of fucking around for a public site. Get a little high, install a
bunch of modules, some homegrown patches, etc, right into the live app,
and then wake up in the morning forgetting all I did...

Er... ok, but I already have every USB port, plus, accounted for.
Well, expect for one of the ones on the keyboard, but I don't expect
a headset would work off a lowpower keyboard port.

It's sitting here on my HD, but I've not gotten around to watching it
as yet.

Well, fundies of any stripe are scary people. Been saying that for
years.

Fish and chips, with malt vinegar for the chips and mayo<1> for the
fish is one of the world's perfect foods. Right up there with PBB&M
(Peanut Butter, Bananas, and Mayo).

<1> Sure, they may CALL it 'tartar sauce' but it's mayo. Sometimes
with some flecks of relish.

Well yeah... but where this film hit me is that it's about the
indoctrination of children - and I don't just mean Sunday school. It was
horrifying to watch them create brainwashed, confused, little fundies.

Give it a look; I'd love your opinion. I hadn't planned on watching it
last night, and it about ruined Julia's ability to get any work done all
evening. I'll probably watch it again in a few days though.

I'm just too fucking lazy. There's always something good on TV
(catching up on The Wire right now) or a movie I haven't seen or 4 or
5 books I'm reading....

taking a brisk walk just feels like a waste of time I could be
putting to better use.

You think?

I've kinda always though that the only US city that might be as walky
as <pick large European city> was San Francisco. I mean, don't
people in NY catch a cab to go 4 blocks?

Right, but that is what Fundies DO best, right?

I will certainly see it at some point.
