Yawn...

Perfect for apathetic Americans then! Like a 24 hour Hollywood Diet!
Wooohoo, guilt-free, effort-free protest!

Why, because religious leaders and politicians are going to care? How

It's obvious baiting because I'm still a journeyman baiter. When I get
better at it
I'll be a master baiter and won't have time for posting.

I'm still frustrated that the list was down in November and I didn't get
my gloating
out of the way.

Just keep plugging away, practice is half the fun

I think you are absolutely right on this but it could be a powerful
statement if consumers would act in a manner that demonstrates
solidarity. I agree with you, it just won't happen.

Bad holiday? Last time I was out in the boonies I has fun in an SUV
making tracks in the toolies.

Dare one hope, that you're maybe feeling less smug about it with the passing of time ? Or is it still a case of
"wow, things are unimaginably shitty, its hard to imagine them being worse, but they sure as hell would
have been if the other guys had gotten in" ?

OTOH, every time I see Kerry doing his "Reporting for duty" sketch in TV flashbacks, the outcome seems
retrospectively obvious.
