Resume Mgr

It's Monday 8 a.m. As 250 new e-mails wait and your are in the middle of a 20-minute search, the phone rings:

"Hi, this is Tom Donleavy...I e-mailed you my resume about two weeks ago and you mentioned that you wanted me to call. I have been away...sorry to be so late in getting back to you. What can you tell me about the position… oh, and you mentioned a couple different positions when you called....”

Do you…

  • Frantically search your e-mail, hoping to find his e-mails and documents to remind you of what jobs you mentioned?

  • Interrupt your tracking search and lose the results?

  • Stall for time?

Or do you ask for his e-mail address, open your Internet browser, and retrieve all his related e-mails, records, and documents?

yes, another employed person hits the street

As of 10 this morning the Ottawa office all but closed. There's
several of us looking for work. My resume is at
http://www.freebsddiary.org/dan_langille.org

I have been working from home full time, as a tele-commuter, for the
past 2 years or so. So if you know of any work around, please let me
know. My ideal job would involve the collection of user requirements,
the design of the system, and the implementation. Preferably, it
would involve some database design and website interfaces. But then
again, that's my ideal job and given the present job market, I'm not
going to be picky.
