Do we need a check if we're under 6.x or 7.x here? Remember we have
customers which are still using -STABLE branch.

What tool to use for usb key mount/umount

I'm working on a bootable DVD based on Freesbie and 6.2-release. I'm looking
for a tool to mount/umount an usb key.

I have my own shell script able to do it, but I'm looking for a more
user friendly
tool (based on xfce4.2, ie without thunar)

Any hints ?

L'équipe FreeBSD gnome a porté hal [1] récemment qui permet de monter
de manière automatique les clefs USB, CDROM. C'est une dépendance
normalement avec xfce4.

You can subscribe to the freesbie ML
(http://liste.gufi.org/mailman/listinfo/freesbie) (very low traffic): we
will send a message everytime a new ISO image is available for testing.

I move this discussion there. (see Cc:)

Did you get the scripts using cvs? (http://www.freesbie.org/cvs.html)

Before launching the build, run "make pkgselect" and choose the packages
you want to include in the ISO (they have to be installed on your
system).
Good luck =)

Where put the user home configration files

Hello, until now I was using customroot/etc/skel/dot files in order to put
configuration files for the user I put on my DVD. But it fails if the files are
too larges (because etcmfs has a fixed size as I understand).

It was a bad idea anyway because the files are in both /etc/skel and
in /usr/home/user/.

What is the best place for putting users config files for Freesbie ?
(I remembre having trouble when I have tried to put it in
customroot/usr/home/user
