 This is not specific only for py-tkinter. This problem exists with
 other python ports, which needed to be compilled by cc.

Ports with version numbers going backwards: audio/cpp-xmms2, audio/py-xmms2, ...

** The following ports have a version number that sorts before a previous one **

 For many package tools to work correctly, it is of utmost importance that
 version numbers of a port form a monotonic increasing sequence over time.
 Refer to the FreeBSD Porter's Handbook, 'Package Naming Conventions' for
 more information. Tools that won't work include pkg_version, portupgrade
 and portaudit. A common error is an accidental deletion of PORTEPOCH.

 Please fix any errors as soon as possible.

Huge Stack Option

Hello All,

I am wondering if it would be possible to change the 
-DTHREAD_STACK_SIZE= value when selecting HUGE from 0x1000000 to at 
least 0x2000000

The current limitation is too small, and the default is far too small to 
adequately host Plone via Zope, and leads to processes just dying 
without error.  Setting a sufficiently massive "HUGE_STACK_SIZE" results 
in useful error messages eventually being provided.

Alternately would it be possible to request a GIANT_STACK_SIZE flag be 
added to the list if we can't adjust the value for huge?

For us, this affects Python 2.4 and 2.6 however I suspect all versions 
are affected.

When I installed lang/python26 with pth option. The python2.6-config output
will have -lpth included.

# python2.6-config --ldflags
 -L/usr/local/lib/python2.6/config -lpth -lutil -lm -lpython2.6
-----------------------------------^^^^^

The pth library lives in /usr/local/lib/pth, so python2.6-config needs to
include the -L/usr/local/lib/pth to fix other ports build. I didn't check if
other versions of python also need the fix.
