Bash says "command not found", but it's right there!

bash-3.2$ ls
bash: ls: command not found

I didn't see a solution to this in the archives.

Anyways...

bash-3.2$ zsh
      5 [main] zsh 7976 C:\cygwin\bin\zsh.exe: *** fatal error - unable to remap
 C:\cygwin\lib\zsh\4.3.9\zsh\complete.dll to same address as parent(0x370000) !=
 0x410000
maybe this is because i path environmented C:\cygwin\bin ?

To the wrong list anyway. See http://cygwin.com/lists.html

Re: Bash says "command not found", but it's right there!

I got another problem that, imho, it's somewhat related to this:

bash-3.2$ hippo
bash: hippo: be right back

I hope you are going to fix it in 1.7!

Disregards,

With apologies to Gustavo for taking his name in vain, I couldn't help
wondering if he is connected in some way with this news item from The

This and previous threads was the seed to me becoming a joke-teller and
becoming funny. I now get invited to parties and no longer spend Saturday
nights writing recursive awk scripts... oh and I created

Nope. In "The Future", AKA the 21st Century, software is able to read plain
text files without problems. Users of that software spend exactly zero time
worrying about what particular format those plain text files may be in.

On the contrary, I'm one of the few who have awoken themselves to the fact
that all is not as the Vast Bi-Partisan Calendar Conspiracy(tm) would have
you belive.
