Re: Failed: phase compiling: kdebase4-runtime-mac-4.4.1-3 failed

I have the same errors. I have been trying to install okular4-mac 4.4.1-1 from source and it fails to compile kdebase4-runtime-mac-4.4.1-3.

Same package manager version as Sebastian running on OS X 10.5.8.

Which lagged because apple gave us a new "gift":( But anyway, now it's
migrated.

The package that you're ultimately trying to install isn't important.
All that matters is whichever one is actually failing.

What's often more important is whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit Fink
setup. Not in this case, however.

As I keep saying: this is an error that requires the maintainer to have
time to fix.

ant-base fails with circular dependencies

I am using Snow Leopard OSx version 10.6.4. Whwn I try to install the latest ant-base I get:
The following package will be installed or updated:
 ant-base
The following 2 additional packages will be installed:
 jakarta-bsf rhino
Do you want to continue? [Y/n] (assuming default)
Failed: Problem resolving dependencies. Check for circular dependencies.
How can I fix this?

It might be due a structural change in the dependency structure. What
happens if you install jakarta-bsf and/or rhino by themselves first?
