Which is why I asked for people who already had them on their system to
confirm the md5's, I refetched all those sources if I happened to have
them on my system. The fact that your original post shows them as
failed means the upstream source has changed for those 3 packages since
you fetched them. It is possible that they no longer build.

Thanks again,
Peter

Re: Please confirm these md5 sums

Hi,
Okay, except for the checksums which failed to confirm for
Jean-Francois, I have added a whole bunch to unstable, some of them
unconfirmed, these may or may not fail, who knows, give me more
confirmations please :)

The following packages still have no checksums in unstable:

Chris Zubrzycki <beren12 <at> users.sourceforge.net> ckermit-8.0.201-1
Sylvain Cuaz <zauc <at> noos.fr> cyclo-2.0-3
Bill Bumgarner <bbum <at> codefab.com> streamripper-1.0.5-11
Chris Zubrzycki <beren12 <at> users.sourceforge.net> gkermit-1.00-2
Sylvain Cuaz <zauc <at> users.sf.net> iozone-3.94-1

Thanks,
Peter

sudo pkg

Didn't we decide against adding packages for such basic system
utilities?

note: fink doesn't call sudo with a path. If the fink-installed sudo
breaks, fink breaks.

FYI, this was caused by an error in the package and has bee corrected
by the developers.

the great guessing game

Hi, again

Still working on a couple of new packages, and am running in some more
trouble. The make phase stops after a bit. For me it's still pretty new
and a guessing game what is the problem, and how to fix it. In the
configure part I see that the package cannot find arts and liboss1,
although I have these installed. I'm not sure if this is related to the
compile error.

I don't want to paste the complete output here to safe bandwidth, but
will paste the .info file below. Maybe some one will have a look and
see what might be causing the error?

thanks,

- Koen.
